Working with us

This new role is based within a small marketing team of specialist product leads and a designer. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will help define and deliver a roadmap of activity designed to raise the profile and reputation (and ultimately influence the number of customers) of the Asanto platform.

Working closely with the Asanto Strategy Director and key members of the Asanto management team, you will become the marketing lead expert. You will play a key role defining the platform’s market proposition and create compelling marketing, PR and events campaign activity across our range of target markets.

As a team, we are curious, open-minded and supportive with a strong will to work together, ask questions and create solutions. The successful candidate will have the ability to shape the creative direction of the Asanto brand to excite and engage audiences.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Create marketing strategies that deliver the objectives set in the overall Asanto marketing strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day planning and delivery of the Asanto marketing strategy.
  • Drive new business leads through the Asanto website, email, PR and paid advertising.
  • Define the market proposition and translate into engaging, tailored sales comms across all channels in B2B environments.
  • Build a suite of creative sales assets, including presentations / case studies / testimonials / videos.
  • Research and implement an awards strategy, scoring target awards / categories, and coordinating submissions.
  • Build and deliver a roadmap of PR, events and advertising campaigns.
  • Represent Asanto at target external events and sponsorship / networking opportunities.
  • Create compelling, SEO-rich content tailored to target markets.
  • Drive organic search growth developing online presence and content.
  • Development and responsibility for social media channels and engagement activity.
  • Build relationships with internal and external clients / agencies / third-party suppliers.
  • Regular reporting on ROI and status of roadmap delivery.

  • Understanding of the financial services market, specifically general insurance
  • Excellent communication skills – providing clear verbal and written marketing copy.
  • Flexible and adaptable – capable of changing direction where required and showing flexibility to meet new demands.
  • Driven by delivery – Is able to self-manage workload and continually meet agreed deadlines.
  • Multi-tasking – is able to manage several concurrent projects and prioritise demands.
  • Solid people skills – an approachable and friendly individual who provides direction, monitors performance and builds a positive and active working environment.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be a proactive and hands-on marketer, highly motivated to work autonomously within a small marketing team. Commercial experience in marketing B2B software-as-a-solution (SaaS) products is highly valued and an ability to translate technical features into engaging, clear copy is a must. Candidates must be prepared to be challenged and take the initiative. Platform training and support is provided; however, a degree of self-learning will be expected.

  • This is a 12-month fixed-term role with the opportunity of an extension/permanent linked to success of activities undertaken.
  • This is a full-time Monday to Friday role with flexible working of 7.5 hours a day.
  • Remote or flexible home/office working supported.
