About the Asanto platform

Working with us

We are looking for an experienced product owner to join our team. This is a full-time role and we are happy to support remote or flexible home/office based working. This role will work closely with a development squad to build and maintain a number of propositions within Asanto’s target markets.

Duties & responsibilities
  • Act as a primary contact between the development team, internal stakeholders and business partners.
  • Work with stakeholders to define a product vision and roadmap, that aligns with our product and company strategy. This will include communicating to the wider team and customers as required.
  • Management of the product backlog, including prioritisation and refinement in-line with stakeholder needs.
  • Define requirements and breaking these down into smaller chunks in the form of Epics, Features and User Stories.
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so they are clearly understood by the development squad and ready to be accepted into a sprint.
  • Oversee the development of the platform; identify and organise the steps required for each iteration and release.
  • Coordinate with other parts of the business to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.

  • Systematic and organised – bringing attention to detail and rigour to the process of building and maintaining software.
  • Business minded – taking decisions that represent The Idol’s business interests.
  • Technically minded – understanding The Idol’s SDLC and providing enough technical knowledge to facilitate good decision making.
  • Domain expertise – understanding the business domains The Idol operates in and building new expertise to support project work.
Experience

To be successful in this role you'll need to highly motivated to work autonomously within a growing team. Commercial experience would be highly valued and passion and an ability to quickly adapt to new technologies is a must. Candidates must be prepared to be challenged and take the initiative. A degree of self-learning will be expected; however, support and training will be provided where needed.

  • This is a full-time Monday to Friday role with flexible working of 7.5 hours a day.
  • Remote or flexible home/office working supported.
